There was electrical work done but the holes and walls aren't patched up so you can see the work the electrician has done.

This liner is 13 yrs old and is patched beyond repair.

Patch all potholes in the streets and parking areas.

:) Make sure you sign a contract for WAY more than you're worth and then eat your weight in Sour Patch Kids.

Ours was under the steps at the foundation and it wasn't much more difficult @Deanna McCormick, it just helped us decide quickly that we were going to run a separate line to the side and reconnect in the basement instead of patching an old pipe.I did this project with one guy who owned an excavator. 

I've work doe on the roof - patching and removing scuttle hatch. 

It can be expensive as they will need to drill a lot of holes, insulate it, then you have to pay a drywalled to come and patch the holes.Both of these combined has helped tremendously with noise though, we barely hear our downstairs guests.  

These are my 2 favorites in the last 7 years.1 hour- Dead petrified cat in the middle of the living room, removal of dead cat3 hour- tenant stated live racoon dropped through ceiling while watching tv- repaired hole in soffit and patched/repaired drywall

With the cracking going all the way to the roof line it's going to be a very expensive repair and not a matter of just patching the hole.
