My wife is extremely systems oriented and it was fairly easy, once we found the right person, to train them into our system.As we made this transition, my wife, who did most of the property management was able to cut back time from full-time to about half-time.So... hiring an employee while a huge hassle in some peoples mind, and it can be, was the solution for us.

If it was vacant, I'd probably need to replace the whole carpet.But, if somebody came in now and saw it with the current tenant living there, they probably wouldn't notice a thing with the tenant's furniture and rugs covering up those patches.Let's say a prospective tenant checks the place while the current tenant is still living there, doesn't see any problems with the carpet and likes it enough to sign a lease.What happens when the new tenant moves when its vacant and notices the problems with the carpet?

We strive to hire the most qualified/service oriented people to help our customers and neither company pays even close to minimum wage(I have worked for both) but just like in any industry there are good and bad and some stores do a better job and hiring/holding people accountable than others.
