Mindi Rosser Best car for new real estate agent?
9 January 2023 | 140 replies
The end result of those conversations is either:- They know, like, and trust me more because of the way I choose to live and WHY I choose to live that way, and then they are a qualified business partner,  - or - - They don't know, like, and trust me for the same reason, and we don't do business together. So, all that to say . . . either buy a car that makes sense to who you KNOW your clients are or buy one to be part of the wisest, most genuine life you can live. Those're my thoughts :)
Account Closed Real Estate Crash Will Be "Different This Time" . . . Right??
2 August 2022 | 68 replies
It's impossible to predict when or how long or how much. There are a few scenarios from doomsday to a blip on the radar. One thing is time on market increasing drastically, and if a lot of sales are bank owned (repo's).Those who suffer a Repo, often do not (can not) get back in the saddle and (will be) replaced by new-bee's who (know not the dangers). So there may be a genuine cut in the number of buyers who can buy (either to rent out or to live in).Watch and see if people are doubling up, such as cousins family living in the garage or in a camper in the driveway with an extension cord kind of stuff. That will give you a boots on the ground idea if the area is "Really Suffering Hard" and will probably stay down for a while, or if it's just a flash in the pan--time wise.Home Repo's are something to keep an eye on too.Just my 2 cents.
Account Closed Cold Calling vs. Direct Mailing Differences or Fear

If you sat down to make tons of phone calls vs Writing tons of letters, you will speak with more people on phone anyday than hoping some will call you back when they get your letter. Now, if you are talking about using a third party company to Send the mail for you, then you can do the same thing with dialer companies that will make thousands of calls for you (every minute) and leave voicemails to customers answering or connect them to you when they answer the phone so you speak with 50 people and hour rather than 6 an hour or even better, connect you to consumers who showed a little interest in your telemarketing call.In reality it comes down to these things:Do you want to send letters and wait for calls and speak only and only with people who has some interest in what you are offering or Can you talk to tons of people, who tell you to f off, not call them etc before you find that one customer who genuinely is glad you called. For me, i would choose the later because i like to control my own destiny and make things work.

You approach their kids and are accused of tampering with the old folks....I see 2 options: Either get even closer with them - in a genuine way, don't just do it out of greed (IMO) or just go straight business mode and approach them with a generous offer based on them moving when THEY feel ready to move....You stand the risk of irritating someone no matter what you do, but on the other hand, the only way to get a great deal sometimes is to walk out on that limb and jump....

Gordon Forbes What do you invest in when everything is over valued?

confidence is at all time highs, incomes and wages are on the rise... the stock market has priced in this growth of course as it is very efficient, but regarding other asset classes... real estate in particular is very much a local economy supply demand driven asset ... so it doesnt need to correct necessarily but could soften industrial metals could continue to grow, oil and other inputs to economies as welllthe globe actually looks pretty robust and in growth mode actually.as for the quesiton "what do do" if you genuinely think everything is overvalued... get in cash... spend money on enjoying life experiences , and do things to help like donate to non profits that help a cause you  like.... its not always about making money, but its about enjoying the journey
