What I've seen here is, maybe investors from the mainland is flocking to invest in Kaui, Maui, and the big island (Waikoloa/Kona/Waimea) ; although these three island doesn't really have many diverse jobs other than tourism (unlike Oahu that has military and tech sector as well).

Yea the commercial and office sector is taking a beating.Originally this was from covid, now it’s due to people not wanting to deal with the city of SF, because with work from home movement they don’t have to live where they work.San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The apartment sector’s main problem isn’t a lack of demand—rents have soared since 2020—it is interest rates.The sudden surge in debt costs last year now threatens to wipe out many multifamily owners across the country.

I can't speak for the Indianapolis market, but Columbus is supported by huge additions to the business sector like Intel, Google, Amazon, Nationwide Childrens Hospital and more!

My thoughts on Ohio have been because being in the tech sector for business, I knew there's a big movement happening out there with Intel.

The housing corporations will sell at least 12-15.000 units annually to the private sector (owner-occupants or landlords).

I think the entire internet stock sector is set for a pullback, and will wait for said pullback before buying.
