The eviction moratorium is an area where it is going to be hard to put the toothpaste back in the tube, particularly for certain states.

It's definitely good for non-perishables like toothpaste and shampoo.

We won't be able to put that toothpaste back in the tube.

But all markets are unique.Back to the analogy, I think affordable rentals are akin to uber-defensive stocks like food or drugs or toothpaste.

The unique part of the situation is that the property mgr uses my contractor as a servicer who happens to be my friend and he has recently sent me photos of certain living spaces that can best be summed up as NASTY (e.g. master bathroom tub looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the beginning of the lease six months ago, the bathroom sinks have caked on toothpaste and the toilets have incredibly dark rings, etc).  

Try brushing it with toothpaste or fine grit sandpaper if it's not too bad.  

You know like the blow up fight between a couple about which end to squeeze the toothpaste is actually about something very different. 

It gives me the heebie jeebies just thinking about all those stray hairs, toothpaste in the sink, splashes around the toilet... 

Once the toothpaste is out of the tube, it's hard to get it back in H.R.

Upon removing the trap, it was discovered that it contained a toothbrush, paperclip, four toothpaste caps, and enough hair to make a fake beard.
