My spidey senses smelled BS at this stage - very likely a plan to smuggle the dog in, which would mean the condo corp would take action against us as landlords, and we would in turn have to evict the tenant, a 3-4 month process during which we might get no rent and would have to pay lawyers some $1,000. 

I know this might sound crazy and don't mean to scare you but most of the drug smuggling into the city for through the lower valley.

He had been running a real estate smuggling ring, compete with deception, stealing money from investors, not completing rehab on properties when it was agreed in writing by both parties, squatters, paying investors with vacant properties with cash they have stolen from other investors, and now there is a tenant in the unit and you are not being paid rent by Morris?

I do not think it should matter what business you are in, what business you are in shouldn't effect them. unless you tell them you are into drug trafficking, and gun smuggling.  

People will change their tune very quickly when someone sneaks a dirty bomb across our border using standard techniques used to smuggle in narcotics right now.

I did a google search after watching the film and apparently BBC journalists have been smuggling out information on a genocide there for some time, but it's been widely unreported as yet.

The only exception maybe is the punishment for drug smuggling which is severe.
