If you are talking about 2-4 units, then it's really no different in my opinion.

Good afternoon, BP Forum,I'm in an interested situation and am curious to get some unbiased thoughts/opinions on the matter.

BUT that $170,000 would give us the potential to buy a few more long-term multi-families.I'm absolutely positive that there are things I'm not considering, but any help, opinions, and considerations would be appreciated!

What I do think and this is just my 2 cent opinion is I do not think we will see steep drops, I think we will see some softening in areas over the next few years where we do not get appreciation - which with inflation still going strong will essentially lead to pricing staying the same / lowering slightly between now and 2027ish which with cost of dollar not going as far will be essentially the same as salaries etc. catching up to home prices.Hope that makes sense. 

This will give you more opportunities and access to various opinions about the market and properties.As to cleaning services, you'd most likely hire a property manager who'll take care of that.

With that being said, lots of mistakes could be made, and you'll get many opinions here.

In my opinion self managing is the way to go.

My opinion doesn't change, this could be a very expensive ommission.  

Our opinions should not make a difference, if you're doing your diligence properly.You'll just get realtors, or real estate professionals, from both locals promoting their area based off a keyword search for posts like this.

Also would love your opinions on those two markets (pros and cons etc).
