As a service to other BP members, if anyone ever needs pics or an ARV opinion of a property within 15 miles of where I live, I'll be happy to do it for $1...I would do it for free, but after another BP member made a bad argument above for why it would be against the law for me to charge this $1, I just feel like flaunting the ridiculousness of it

Common sense prevails most of the time, don't flaunt expensive items, good lighting, a dog, neighbors looking out for each other, but if everything else fails, you need a way to put someone down.Security systems are hit or miss.

People have always been vain which means they will always want to flaunt their treasures and live with conspeicuous consumption.

Don't get me wrong...I think it's poetic justice when a woman flaunts a gun at a child's soccer game and then gets shot in the face by her husband, but I don't argue the right of people to do it.If I felt I couldn't adequately protect myself without a gun, I'd probably carry one also.

First, there is no reason to flaunt your wealth- i think its tacky, and your tenants may resent you, especially if you are a lot younger than them.

What I perceive as a sin certainly isn't by, yes, I'll say it, younger members, those with fewer times around the block, it's a lack of communication and probably much my fault as I don't really like to type and say things along a short path,I just hate hype, I'm pretty conservative, I don't like flaunting success or money in people's faces, I know it's not necessary to sell or convey ideas or teach.
