I have had good experiences being a landlord so far and I've had an unbelievable amount of help from friends and family in my rehabs.

Take them off and either use paint stripper, or, i don't know if you have ever watched the show rehab addict ( i have never tried this) but she puts the parts in a crock pot with water and cooks the paint off. i'm sure you can look that up and find out exactly what she does. good luck with the project.

Although my goal is buy & hold, if it becomes rather addictive (which I assume one can get the bug) I fully intend to run some flips, so Conroe is a very potential location to learn about.

It's definitely out of control in Austin due to our insane city council that is addicted to raising property taxes to the max to pay for their various scams

So you got your drug addicts, hookers, child molesters, rapists, thieves, meth heads, gang members and other undesirables......So the answer to your question isn't relevant to where you live.

She has some addiction issues and we just let it pass. 

So the recruiting piece it's another tool in the tool chest but if you don't see it as a really strong potential to grow your business your missing this unbelievable opportunity.
