I am a native of Jacksonville and know the area very strongly. 

With a bunch of new construction in Brickell and the design district (Native, Quadro, etc) I wonder how this will effect prices and rent in existing units in those areas or elsewhere in Miami. 

It makes me nervous how upset people are over property taxes and property inflation, because council people could react to those sentiments and enact policies that are not investment friendly when the city needs new investment desperately. 

I think it was listed at the top end of the market and when interest rates rose in August my agent didn’t react and reduce price.

I am a Southern California native, but I have moved around some due to the military (Navy Veteran, Hooyah!)

The California mandate will boost the solar industry but there's a risk that other energy commissions across the country could react by punishing solar in those markets. 

As a Houston native, I think the north bound trend and proximity to Woodlands development is definitely a major factor in my decision making.
