Honestly, I'm not involved until months/years after the failed condo conversion started, and by then the seller is always "zomg I want to sell ASAP and for top dollar because this was my get rich quick scheme," at which point I chuckle to myself and politely end the conversation (as a lender, I do not work for sellers).
