I build then in ways that I will NEVER see that $$ back.....Life is more than accumulating $$.....some people spend big $$ on travel....clothes.....dining experiences..... none of that stuff does it for me...... we work hard to accumulate $$ so we can do the things WE enjoy......what's the point of having that $$ if its doesn't facilitate you to be able to spend some in a "less than financially sound way"......and everyone is different, so if you are financially sound in every other aspect of your life and you want a Tesla, then get one....
