Personally I have been trading a few select stocks as they reach pretty predictable support and resistance levels.

And unless like you pointed out the fed raises interest rate which there are tons of reasons I think that is unlikely at a dramatic level like in the 1980’s than inflation is going to continue particularly for asset as anyone that understands what happening is going to run to things that have inflation resistant value or that they think will.

They will resist this.

a lot of agents will be resistant to pitching these types of offers to their clients. 

Am I missing something, or would it not make more sense to go with the path of least resistance and greater ROI by wholesaling?

They resisted diversifying their economies, repurposing their manufacturing facilities, closing dangerous mines, and they thought that if they just waited long enough, something would change. 20 years ago, the rust belt was dead, and some of those towns kept on waiting, and are still waiting.

Add resistance, no trespassing signs, if this is consistent have someone out there to kick them off the property.
