Rather than sitting and waiting for an inheritance and watching her run out of money then having to come bail her (and my brother) out, I have chosen to pursue this route which will give her money to pay off her debts, pay her monthly bills, provide a lump sum for my brother to live on once she is gone, and provide me with an investment vehicle to take care of my family in the long run.
