My question: All the apartments had gas stoves, and all the stoves have been removed, but, surprisingly, all the copper piping is still there, exposed (the copper thieves haven't gotten to it yet).

Second, do you distinguish between "essential" and "non-essential", i.e. a stove and fridge might be considered "essential" and washer/dryer or dishwasher not so much the former is on you the later is on them?

They're like two feet off the ground, no way to add a counter there without looking ugly/blocking significant areas of the window)I'm probably going to remove the stove and fridge and replace them with stainless steel ones.

The location of water line/sink will be changed (likely not useable during reno), but the gas stove will remain in the same location (likely useable during reno).
