The square footage is not even considered to be official.since its a co-op they must have the documents and everything on file, including the fees that are paid which may be based on SF or on # bedrooms.

So, if you’re the heir to your parents house after their death, you can assume the mortgage on the home and continue making monthly payments, picking up where they had left off.Additionally, you should be able to continue making payments to keep the mortgage current, even if the account hasn’t yet been legally assumed by you yet.There is an exception to this situation, which is when the mortgage has a co-signer.
