When I start to resent them for not being better, more organized, dreaming a larger vision, or living up to their teachings, I know it's time to move on.

Start with your vision of where you want to be - this was my biggest mistake- THEN create your goals to support your vision.

My recommendation it to get a LOT more focused, narrow that field of vision by about 90%.

Most people quit after having these kind of thoughts because they don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel and don’t believe in their vision enough to keep pressing forward and bursting through the barricades.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the many places and strategies, so create your vivid vision and dive in!

Combine that with an unquenchable curiosity and a clear vision.. look out.

You have to see something in the numbers that others are missing, not create a way to make the numbers work for your vision.

I partnered with someone back in college and I did a poor job of vetting and making sure their values and vision matched mine and blew up in my face.

Your mindset is heavily influenced by who you surround yourself with & take advice from.Mostly everyone has heard this before, but I want to stress something that affects all of us at one point or another.This is being discouraged by others when you tell them your vision.

They're paying a premium for the finished product, move in ready.The people that want to do the flips themselves probably have their own vision for the project and likely don't value the plans too much.Doubt it'd hurt anything, but highly doubtful you'd see much return on the money spent to get them.
