Either way - may want to consider that route - less of a headache and better to establish a relationship with a banker than to have private money breathing down your necks sucking your profits or having to pay them above market interest rates or whatever their terms are.You'll just have to find the right bank that is comfortable with Assisted living - One carrot I've dangled before to get a loan (for my personal residence anyways) was that any bank that would lend to me for "X" would have a great chance at getting my operating/business accounts -- a lot of money goes in and goes out - but if you get to a point you'll be able to build up your reserves -- smaller banks would really like to have your business accounts on their books.

., that is my thinking as well, my theory is that the big hotels are getting threatened by Airbnbs and they muscled this ordinance into place, the fact that it passed so silently and the mayor was supporting Airbnb being there gives me "corrupt" vibes all over the place.

got it I misunderstood you meant to hire someone cheaper for cleaning gutters,  the guy whom I hired is not a roofing contractor per se he is a renovations contractor who does fixing cracked boot /chimneys thought I could pay him an additional couple of hundred bucks to clean up the gutters as well while he was already there.gotcha. sometimes it's hard to convey and infer intents from a written medium. yeah, in that case, for a couple hundred it's well worth avoiding a broken back/neck.
