I say blessing in disguise because I spend about $8 to 10k in hotels around this area.The questions I have for everyone is, 1) Does anyone see a disadvantage in buying an owner occupied property only? 

Disadvantage with reverse mortgage: Cannot be in a Living Trust and goes through probate upon death.

The advantage is quick cash, the disadvantage is that it's a job.

The new short wall in the guest bath (the one that's at a right angle to the back wall) would be a great place for a towel bar, or a couple of small shelves with towels on them, or maybe a little cabinet for the towels.The disadvantage is that if you don't move the main stack, I'm not sure if moving the guest toilet to the outside wall will work - since the stack is in the same spot, you have to make sure you'll still have enough slope on the pipe to the toilet, even with the toilet being further away from the main stack.
