I have a peculiar taste for my own living conditions (rural, space, privacy) and I'm most interested in unique properties that offer more than just a typical house in the city. 

For privacy purposes, however, I agree.

Therefore, a living trust provides no asset protection for the trustmaker.Setting up a Holding Company LLC in a state where there is anonymity (Wyoming) is great, however, privacy is really the only additional thing you are achieving.

But wanting this house to function perfectly  and be desirable as a single family home if need be.That being said, I designed it in such a way that all 4 bedrooms have an amazing view, yet complete privacy as they can't look at the  other bedrooms and have the feeling of being alone in the desert surrounded by Joshua trees.Every bedroom has it's own bathroom and direct access to the pool, spa and trails directly though  the large sliders located  in each  room.I have a large kitchen, living, dining space in the middle of  he house so everyone can get together to enjoy the view, pool and  outdoors.Of course, a game/yoga room and activities are always a big plus.I hope this somewhat answers your question.

Where do you fall on the spectrum of cash-flow vs. privacy?

There is easement area to give up, so it wont encroach on the property, and there is a tall privacy fence, 8 ft at least.In your experience, how much cheaper will this house need to be vs. interior comps in the same neighborhood to move it later???

Since the units are separate, you will also be able to maintain your privacy and create a clear separation between you and your tenants that is harder to do when houses hacking a single family home.

If they are pushy about protecting the Tenant's privacy, tell them to send it directly to the collection agency which is legally bound to protect privacy at an even higher standard.If the PM absolutely refuses, then I recommend you threaten to file a complaint with the State Commission.

Most investors will find you calling them out of the blue as an invasion of privacy. 

For optimum privacy and asset protection, it's best if the title trail never actually has your name in it.
