These numbers are hard costs and do not include site engineering or architectural costs.

I have been exploring the idea of going back to school for architecture and/or real estate design, but was hoping to get into the field without having to go back to school.

I feel like this is a dumb question, especially with my background in architecture, but I work in commercial and I haven't dealt personally with any zoning issues.

Hopefully, it's not one of those wild architectural designs reminiscent of the opera house in Sidney, Australia.Re-purposing buildings is a specialty that I have no practical experience at however I've marveled at a number of establishments that I've either visit or patronized.

The street level retail stores are seperate along with a rear unit with a huge commercial style kitchen which makes me think the rear unit may not be legal although it has a seperate mail address and built-ints are original architecture?!

I don't know Whitman at all but what I see is a place that you, with your architectural and landscaping experience, could get some good curb appeal going on there pretty quickly.
