I'm considering a service branch as a potential step in an architecture career but the only person I was able to talk with from the architecture side said they mainly take things apart, demolishing bridges etc.

It's perfect -  complementary scaled to the space and architecture.

One factor is that many of the typical Baltimore row houses are small and not that appealing architecturally.  

I currently work in multifamily architecture in Dallas, TX, but am looking looking to make the jump and start an architecture/development company in Houston, TX.  

I have an accredited dual architecture and building science degree and practiced in architecural and interior design firms for almost 20 years in the states and here in China before diving into the real estate and property development side.

I just got my sales license in NYC, my main purpose to have it is to use it as a support for my investing, and my architecture practice. 

For a 2 story ADU, your architectural and structural combined should not be more than $20k for simple design that is not hillside or anything complicated.

For this lot, we did all the environmental studies, grading plans, fire approvals, and landscaping plans, along with a preliminary architectural design since it helps with the sale if the buyer can "see" themselves living in the property.

College can teach you accounting, finance, contract law, architecture, engineering, etc....
