Case in point, I have personally seen investors lose hundreds of thousands of dollars due to tenant litigation for things unknown to the average investor that any good property manager would have raised a red flag on.Above and beyond searching for objective online reviews, checking BBB and doing your due diligence with respect to client references, I also recommend hiring a PM company that is a member of NARPM.

And, for a lawyer to sue for adverse possession for property he was claiming was his, that was on the other side of a fence that he never crossed, and never used the land on the other side of that fence for at least 10 years - is not a case he was ever going to win, which he well knew.So, is that lawyer likely to take that case in front of a judge who is going to know that this lawyer knew better than to bring this case before him/her?
