Account Closed wonderful advice: Flipping, in my opinion, requires a particular type of temperament as you would have to deal with a lot of different and interesting characters from City Officials to CON-tractors (note the CON part). 

Go to old tractor shops and buy used tractor rims.  

Thats my tiny backhoe it is a great machine , I have a full size machine Deere 310 B I have had for 20 years , and a New holland  40 hp tractor/loader .  

He then got us a ($2500 new) 2 yr old Cub Cadet lawn tractor for $450 from a facility he works for along with barely used chain saws & various landscaping equipment they didn't need anymore when they went with a professional landscaping.

I know when I am looking to build a new housing tract or do some other deal the first thing I do is line up my capital then I go shopping..

Cash, limited amount in Equities and for fun, I've gotten into older John Deere Garden Tractors.

You use them to park an RV or store tractors and other farm equipment.The one we were working on was pretty big.

(supply and demand) artificial government interference does not help the market, it messes up real progress and productivity in the right directions.another example, resources are limited so if there is only one tractor and it is given to a farmer who has failed in business and paid for by the taxes of the farmer who is successful in business, the successful farmer can't have the tractor. the unsuccessful farmer is not likely to be able to pay for the tractor out of his future earnings. this is not good for the economy even if politicians think it is wonderful.great book.
