I see the $2,500 up front fee as a way to weed out the people who, as my mother would say, "don't have a pot to piss in."

It's difficult enough balancing tenant relations, why intentionally stir the pot?

So, I got the coffee pots going, and went to a local grocery store for supplies (out of my own pocket!)

Might be a smarter move to jack the house up to make the basement higher; of course, there is a lot that goes into doing that properly, but you will have a more functional space than leaving the "shelves" (that will resemble benches) taking up some of that valuable square footage.

If you've ever been in a unit where there was indoor pot smoking 2-3 time per day you would not say it doesn't do damage.

@Felix StoneFor me it was deciding not to move out of my starter home up to a nicer area when the rest of my colleagues did.Appreciation went crazy which gave me great access to a big pot of money to make moves.

I allowed them to move a few things in prior to their official move in date of today as I was completing some construction projects within the home.Yesterday evening as we were finishing up some of the painting we moved a pot/pan of the tenants and inside were two cockroaches.

It's parking today, it was a weight bench in the side yard before that.
