While I am opposed to this for ideological reasons, as a renter in NYC, it's nice to know that I live and rent on the popular side of this populist argument.

But if you are in fact dead set on renting instead of owning, I'll gladly rent you any of my properties so I can profit off of your ideology.

They misrepresent in order to push a political and economic ideology. 

However; we lost much of our freedoms already due to elitism, statism, and other wicked  ideologies.

Guess that happens as more and more landlords escape this ridiculous socialist ideology: there will be less supply, demand will increase or stay the same and rental prices will skyrocket, having the exact opposite effect of these politicians best wishes...creating more homelessness.

@James Tedrow I think that anybody on this thread, who is actually a real estate investor, that votes for Joe Biden is purely doing so for ideological reasons.

I get the peace of mind / better sleep ideology of being a payment ahead, but how much better can the sleep and peace of mind get after 2,3,4,5,6 prepayments
