Because of my wife having allergies I am generally more sensitive to such things than the average landlord/tenant, but I would generally say that if you are renting an unfurnished place then you should clean all surfaces and deep clean carpet.

She does not want to pay.The tenants lease is up in July, I'm more than happy for her to move out now, but this since this is a 2br condo and she's splitting it with another stranger -- I don't expect the stranger will want to move out (or cover the full rent until July).So the question is - iIs it my responsibility to pay and perform a mold test with no evidence of mold besides "my allergies are acting up?"

Also, coming from someone with kids that have food allergies, you might want to have some kind of verbiage on air bnb or a big sign on the counter for guests that they should read the labels on the food and that you are not responsible for any adverse reactions.With that said, I plan on having coffee and tea k cups in my air bnb
