In it I had a copy of the paid off loan statement from the town homes I sold last year, I had a copy of my tax returns, a copy of sales awards from insurance companies, a bank statement showing the down payment, a financial analysis of the property I was looking at & my business plan for increasing the NOI.

Sounds like the realator is just trying to insert themselves into the build contract so they can either get some sort of kickback and/or convince the client to award the contract to them instead.

Some say that you have to file a separate civil action (in addition to the actions to remove the tenant)  to be awarded a judgement against the tenant and some things I read online seem to imply you can do them both at once through 1 action.

However, actually suing someone in Mexico takes minimum 3 years and then you only get the award for the specific item (no lost income, lost interest, etc).

Raising from truly outside parties is much harder without experience and track record.The raise is a chicken and egg problem when starting out.  99% of the time, brokers won't award you a deal without clear ability to close.

@Samuel Coronado, I don't know your state's law but I would think that you would go to court to have the unit declared abandoned and for possession to be awarded back to you.

One idea would be to pay the GC for the visit but ask if they'll deduct it from their bid price later if they are awarded the job.
