With a humble start as a couple folks in a diner, it has grown into an incredible monthly meetup at a local office with guest speakers every month, partnerships formed, deals done, and several new investors gaining confidence to do their first deals. 

If you are not following him online, he has great educational content and is a fantastic speaker. 

To be fair, I arrived a few minutes late, but from what I saw there wasn't much of a meet and greet component to it, more of just a presentation on a platform they were selling.I did get good learning and insights from the speakers who had an open QA where anyone could ask questions.

We get a lot of cool speakers at our meet up and this month is a local award winning stager fresh off a national conference winning a bunch of awards, Carl Dismukes, who will be sharing some of the latest stats and trends. 

While listening to a BiggerPockets podcast, the guest speaker mentioned that he started his business with a self directed 401(k), then he also said that he himself worked on the property to fix it up.

They had a speaker from Denver talk on contracts with contractors.

I participated in an investment group recently and the key note speakers spoke about Section 8.

I have a few ideas of different speakers, format etc for down the road.

Events like this give spurts of information and then trail off on stories by the speaker and tell you to get the rest of the information at meetings after you join the expensive membership group. 

We have an out of town guest speaker on Monday.We have 2 attorney (that I know of) that are members and vendors.
