For those following, I'll provide a little more clarity to help show where I'm at and the reasoning for asking about partnership structures in my initial post.

Don't expect everything for "free". and when I say that I don't mean it in the sense of having to pay money, but I like when someone has tried to do their own research and asks questions about a specific topic when they get confused or need clarity on something.

For clarity sake... in a few years of doing REI on the side, I would then plan to make a decision to either go full-time in REI (my preference at this point) or continue at my place of work and possibly lighten up on the wholesaling/birddogging, hoping that 1-2 promotions (and better budgeting!)
