I prioritize it above my business, family, wife, etc.

It sounds stupid, but in 3 years since we got into real estate, we're working every weekend, and haven't prioritized ourselves to take a break... 2019 it's happening!

I also now plan to sell my overpriced primary and move into one of my rentals that costs me $900/month because I prioritize cash flow over impressing other people.

I do not agree with everything in the book, but if he has learned critical thinking he can evaluate for himself the value of any of the teachings.I have confidence that he can achieve financial success if that is what he prioritizes because his life experiences have prepared him to be successful (not necessarily the same as financially successful).

So the majority of Americans have a very long way to go and I doubt many of them are prioritizing REI over 401k so they are even worse off then some here who do both or just REI.Truth is, everyone should save for retirement period.

I agree with you that there are plenty of wealthy people who are the same way, however many of them worked their butts off and prioritized their lives so that they could have the time to participate in these activities.

If you are only actually saving 20% total to the categories of money for an asset, money for a down payment, and money for retirement, need to re-prioritize. 

We and others you have listened to I'm sure just prioritize things differently. 

With the huge volume of both normal mortgages and refinances, banks are prioritizing normal purchase mortgages to keep people from literally being homeless during their moving process.
