With the world moving towards becoming more energy conscious and renovating homes for the future of our cities, does it make sense financially and logistically (time scales) to build more innovative homes with a focus on energy independence and less waste?

@Chris Logan i thought i was the only one that was conscious of no money down deals.

If you are price conscious then being your own project manager and doing everything remotely can be done but you need for know you will have some stress with this approach.

My plan clearly states why $30,000 houses in Milwaukee don't make sense for me - so whenever I start to second-guess whether I'm buying houses correctly, I re-read my plan and consciously ignore those Milwaukee deals.

Your sub-conscious mind can not distinguish whats real or not.

Pricing can reflect this also, but I use them on my more complicated projects.Another firm if you are more cost conscious that I use is Gift and Associates.  

Its a duplex so even if you have an energy conscious tenant as soon as the other side uses more they will turn the heat up so as not to lose out.

Also, about setting a goal your conscious mind thinks can't happen, and letting the subconscious go to work on finding solutions.
