Neither make the local politicians look good, and just furthers the sentiment that politicians are either dumb or are pushing a shadow agenda.

Or, are most landlords in the "hold firm to the lease" sentiment (which I can respect too)? 

@Todd Powell while I agree with your sentiment, the reality is we can complain and fight change or we can figure out a business model that allows us to survive in the changing economic climate were tenants are asking us to do more for more people with less.

@Nick Troutman id echo the sentiment of caution, but want to add a note to the comment about not getting into multifamily.

Obviously, there are many that disagree with this sentiment.

Fast forward to now, and apply the same thought on Real Estate there is sentiment that this recession will be an action replay of the last one!!!
