There is a location next to the entrance where a lot of water ends up.We have one oak tree on the front lawn and one in the backyard, they have roots sticking off the ground close to the home but the trees are not that old I believe.I would love to get some unbiased advice which is hard to get from companies that have a vested interest in me spending money.Thanks a lot !

Each part of the house has a main entrance on a different side of the home.  

Since wholesaling is an attractive entrance into real estate investing, it attracts a lot of people. 

For my house hacks I choose 4br SFRs in north coastal San Diego (92024) and I always made sure to purchase properties with a separate entrance for at least 1 of my tenants.

Or you could try asking the tenant if someone is living with them or why a non-resident has a key to the main entrance. 

@Wayne Brooks My understanding is duplex is 2-family unit, each unit with its own kitchen, bathroom and entrance.

We all will be sharing the same address but all of us will have separate entrance and own privacy.Should we rent through a company's entity or our personal name ?

I am considering making an offer on a property in Atlanta zoned as single family with an accessory dwelling unit (basement unit with private entrance).

Our neighborhood does not allow short term rentals but one family has built a 2-bedroom apartment in their basement with an outside entrance for a family that takes care of his wife who has MS during the day when he works.

I purchased  my current residence in Denver(Live-in rehab and hold) and added a mother in-law suite in the basement with a separate entrance for a 2nd unit and a master suite upstairs.
