Things like the plumbing fixtures, 5/8 inch Sheetrock on the walls instead of wood paneling, and separated central air systems between units are all examples of things that are required for a current duplex conversion, but not as livable space if that makes sense.

After a rain storm there are pot holes every where and roads can go up and down inches to literally feet just from swelling clay.. this also break the pipes.

The problem is the counter has been built 1/2 inch - 1 inch too high and the the only way to fix is to take the countertop off and rebuild part of the island.
