Not that this is the best example, but on Shark Tank people get laughed of the stage when they don't know their numbers.

I won't bother giving feedback on the loan-shark vilification of how the author depicts current investors in these markets.

(this also fits Occam's Razor) It seems to me that if Obama wanted to change the face of the country, his best strategy would be to solve the financial crisis, declare himself a hero for doing so, and then capitalize on his status as someone who can solve all our problems.

Essentially, we don't pay our employers for a slot in their line up, our credentials/degree gets us a spot.

And as Steve says, keep your money to yourself for the time being - it's like blood in the water.. the sharks will find you!
