Sheri look and see what the city is planning and see what going on with homeland security a few more big names just said they are coming over there and look at the Good hope area where the city is putting millions on grants to redo the store in the area on the mayors page so do a double take on that one.

The lowest barrier to entry I've seen for house hacking would be to find areas with grant loans, there are several here in central OH, they are general "majority minority" areas, but many local banks are incentivized to do loans in these areas, so you can often get into a 2-4 unit with no money down, and 15K towards closing costs and rate by down.

Now granted, so far that is the exception, but if I can use that to keep the leads coming and find a way to use that to get more organic leads here (which I've also had a few) that would be great.

Hi Tony:The best way to handle is to visit the city planning department which zoning is usually part of to see if a variance is granted, and examine the plans filed.

Granted, they had the benefit of relatively low purchase prices relative to rental income; low interest rate loans they were able to refinance into and (generally) rising house values.
