You get in the pool...you paddle around a little in water you can stand up in, and when you feel comfortable, you go a little deeper and a little deeper until voila!...

@Mike D'Arrigo ..no sailing to date, but enjoyed Paddle boarding down in San Clemente back in the summer..so relaxing!!

I highly recommend everyone visit the National/State parks in Utah and a road trip from Banff to Jasper and paddle board the FL keys. 

I forecast having to provide paddle boards/kayaks/fishing gear to differentiate myself in the next season or two.

Golf cart, furniture, boat, paddle board, etc.  

Biggest risk is the complaints from neighbors about the noise, although I've heard that there are new paddles that dampen the noise quite a bit?
