This tax is assessed on income derived from the leveraged portion of the real estate owned by the IRA, and also applies on the sale of leveraged property in an IRA.

It really depends on where you want to take your real estate investing.

I got started by moving from Portland OR to Columbus Ohio and started full time real estate investing here and started with house hacking/multifamily as well.
