Obviously, there needs to be some ice breakers there when meeting people, it may not serve you well at all to try and bring up money in your first contact.

It makes for a good icebreaker as well.

Believe it or not, this had some great results because the people that called saw the humor in it and it was an ice breaker :)

My kid is the ultimate ice breaker with property managers and owners.I usually try to take one of the two days completely off and just spend it with family, but that's not always possible if the "Ops tempo" is high.

Or when I'm meetings where the ice breakers come up, I mention I ride motorcycles, I play golf and I love my passion which is Real Estate investing.
