When a woman becomes the President of the United States, it will be HUGE news.Women can do ANYTHING a man can do, but societal morals and mores have prevented woman from some fields. 

Everyone comes here with perceptions of dealing in real estate as if it were a train load of shoes.

A large number of foreclosures hurt your resale value as it hinders perception and may affect appraisal value.  

It seems that the lack of experience is what caused some confusion and unfortunately airbnb is up to everyone's personal perception.

But if I were you and had such a negative perception of wholesalers, or any specific wholesale deal where I can't get a title fully insured, I would simply forego the assets offered by wholesaler/s.

Most REITs should not trade at huge premium and/or discount to NAV and when they do it is often a lot about perception about the future of that REIT or that RE market.

Also keep in mind that the size and leverage component of your equity position on your balance sheet should drive your perception of risk relative to the size of the note you're being asked to kiss. 

Now you speak of it how great it is by tricking the public perception.

Jay Hinrichs and the most hilarious thing is that on his Morris Invest podcast, when he addressed the question about why people look down on 40k duplexes, he attributed it to people being elitist snobs who "stick their nose up in the air" and have negative perceptions about "blue collar" neighborhoods.

There seems to be a perception on bigger pockets that you can get a much better deal if you bypass Turnkey and hire a realtor; I disagree.
