That would be a considerable interest payment on that money I would assumeUnfortunately they also have not submitted their audited financials to the SEC so unless investors have received the financials, would it not be impossible to determine the current financial position of the company?

Then again, if you’re talking about a mortgage on your personal residence, and you live in a state with an unlimited homestead exemption for creditor attachment like Texas or Florida, there’s an asset protection consideration as well.   

I'm taking everything you mentioned into consideration.  

While those are all considerations and options you have a license and skill that is incredibly valuable to anyone who wants to transition into real estate full time....the ability to charge for your time.

Maybe I'll need to give it some more consideration, haha, especially because we could probably actually go see some properties in person that way and she speaks passable Japanese.

It requires considerable infrastructure investment.

But for an OOS investor one consideration is access to support, first of all PM & contractors, and you have more choices in the much larger Milwaukee metro area than in a smaller submarket.
