I'm an investor living Oakland, CA where I own 2-3BR units and am originally from Grand Rapids, MI where I recently purchased a studio/3BR duplex.I'm excited to be investing my money back home, but the huge influx of cash buyers here and the quickly saturating market has made finding quality buy and hold deals in GR a difficult prospect.

A few of my family members told me this last weekend I was there and was not aware or some sort of ban the City put on I believe due to the saturation of rentals the city has.

i self manage mine and now the market here in Tampa is getting saturated so with the exception of the one with a pool that absolutely crushes it, I'm considering going back to LTR so that i can go spend more time on my boat and less time washing sheets and towels lol.
