No way to know how things will shake out in the end.Like just about everyone said, it is going to all depend on purchase price, location etc.I think you could be optimistic on 15%. 7-10 is probably more real, if you could get it.

As a generality, I'd be more cautious buying an STR right now as there needs to be a small supply shake out, something that's not likely to fully run it's course for at least another year.

Only had one killer deal (7 adjoining properties) where the end buyer knew the whole story, he was a neighbor, he is wealthy and very astute, he said he wanted to buy it and ask me to shoot him the price I needed, I did, he didn't blink as he knew what I went through to get at that point, but he did shake his head saying he should have bought it from the previous owner.
