The wall paint was very dirty so I charged tenant 50% of re-painting cost.

I need to install a GFCI outlet on both sides of every sink (not replace a normal outlet with a GFCI one, put in entirely new outlets so every sink has two), install another 2-3 smoke detectors per property, repaint all internal molding/trim so that it matches, replace a garage door panel that has a 1 cm dent, and so on.

I intend to live in the house for 1 or 2 years while I repaint the inside in neutral colors.  

We repainted the bath, cleaned out the bath ventilation fan, pretty much addressed anything that we could cosmetically.

The exterior has the 1955 look (even I repainted, replaced windows and doors, install new gutters).

Full repaint, garage organization, full kitchen remodel, back yard clearing, wall opening, roof repair, running new electrical lines.

The contractor mentioned he should be able to do repaint or cover it up. 

Can you not just scrape the popcorn ceiling off then repaint?

We also repainted everything and replaced the carpet so that everything is hard wood except the stairs so we don't have to worry about gross carpet and keeping it clean.
