Loans scams in this financing niche are a problem, as I said, and the top 3 scams found most prevalently include:1.Fees paid prior to closing a loan: Also called upfront fees, there are a lot of fake lenders who pretend to be funding loans but instead are having borrowers pay upfront fees.

Call and pretend to be a tenant.

It is quite apparent that, from the war stories I here, there are so many pretenders out there preying on brokers that are desperate to find a REAL solution with a REAL lender for their client's needs.

So this is $1200 a month (lets pretend they all rent out immediately) Lets also say I have to pay 12% interest. 

Even for individual listings by small scale owners, which you probably don't want to see in person by pretending to be a renter, you can still call and get an idea of the amenities vs price for your direct competitors.
