Thanks @John Lenhart Will you continue to use quickbooks w Appfolio or are you planing to use their finance features?

I'm planing on purchasing a small multifamily in the Cincinnati area and looking for a good property manager.

to understand the basis of land trust, LLC, LP, how they all work together as well as recommended  business structure if you are planing on protecting your asset and build a portfolio of 2 unit per year?

I hope that someone will know about this other programs and to get your guys feedback since I am planing on getting better in organizing our spending and savings for the next deal.  

So if one day and a $500 plane ticket skews the deal, don’t do it.

@Larry Spradling, it's probably time to jump on a plane and do a site visit. 

I travel in BC pretty extensively and fly my plane up there a few times a year and all you have to do is get a feel from 10k feet at the vast timber reserves in BC ( British Columbia) to realize that CA has so much timber that they can flood the markets.Also Werehouser is the largest producer there and largest producer in he Pac NW so they get it either way.. :)Cedar for fencing though has gone nuts..

If you intend to invest there I highly suggest you jump on a plane and spend at least a long weekend there.

Hey Bigger Pockets community, will someone step forward and tell Patrick his idea of project managing a renovation from a 2 hour away distance when the owner is a plane flight away is a good system?
