I feel like this really sparked my interest in RE investing.

Sparked some ideas on how to make that more sustainable throughout the office!

Carbon monoxide monitors and smoke detectors are already mandatory in most states and adding surge protectors for devices that easily spark during inclement weather seems like an inexpensive solution. 

I buy wipers & spark plugs & brakes online & any other part I can & use local mechanics who work from their homes or an occasional shop for oil change, etc.

Sparked an interest in 2012, watched a lot of Home Network shows and thought it was an interesting industry... tried to learn on my own but couldn't find a proper structure or resource pool to pull from... enrolled in school 2013, completed 4 years of Business ... got my degree with major in Real Estate, convinced my wife that owning was better than renting, purchased first home in 2018 and bought some land this summer!

There is a relatively small part of the city itself that had unrest, but that has pretty much all ended by now.

The pandemic has reduced inventory - foreclosures/evictions have been reduced, people refrained from listing their homes because they didn't want to invite COVID into their homes, companies moving to 100% remote work allowing people to move to more desired locations, people moving out of cities because of the civil unrest and riots they have been experiencing, etc...  

I'm just that guy that goes the extra mile in his thinking check out the link on the post that sparked the questions and thus the whole scenario.
