Happy to put you in touch with a handful of them that own/owned thousands of doors in Detroit and picked up shop for Toledo if you'd like to fact check me.They told me that the motivation was two fold:1) Prices in Detroit had gotten too expensive to make their business "work" and Toledo is/was dirt cheap.2) The rental cert regulations in Toledo are particularly lax compared to Detroit and evictions are/were far easier.I have no idea if this is all current as of today, but it was at the time of that writing.
