Develop a Power Team of individuals that share your principles, ethics, have your best interests at heart, and want to see you succeed. 

If you do not feel like your property management company has your best interest at heart, start interviewing others.

I want to become more involved with bigger pockets but as the viral quote says "Aint nobody got time for that" Im here to say Im just networking not trying to sell people products or any junk like that, I am the President of my local REIA and have a heart for teaching, like Josh and Brandon, I listen to their podcast all the time.

I lived in Thailand for 2 years so it has a special place in my heart. :)I own a few properties in the greater Denver area although I don't live in Colorado and they have proven to be excellent investments.The one question I would ask you is why not invest somewhere closer to home (e.g. another city closer say within a 50 mile radius of your current property) so that, perhaps, your family member could also watch after it. 

S8 is not for the faint of heart and it requires an excellent Property Manager willing to do them if you're out of state.
